Good Morning!
It's been slippery out there....at least the snow is melting.
My elderly neighbor Paul fell  outside the other day. His wife Elsie called the ambulance and was checked out.  A couple weeks ago Elsie fell all the way down the stairs, two black eyes and am sure she was bruised in other parts of her body. She was pretty stiff and sore for couple weeks. They are on their way to good Recovery!
They invited me over for supper last night. Turkey and all the trimmings..cherry delight for dessert! It was Great!
Last evening, Danae Swartzentruber was over to show me how to create folder's so i can organize my pictures on my computer. It took at least 3 hrs to sort through, Now i need to load them-up on a Cd.
This week i would have planned the Valentine Dinner, But it sounds like it's a "no show".
I am Perfectly fine with it!
Although, it would be fun to bake some desserts and have alittle party!
I love Chocolate cake and Cheesecakes...Let's just say i love to bake!
The messy part i don't care for so much. They need to make disposable measuring cups and spoons. I'm being lazy!
Yesterday, I went and bought a brand new frying pan. I hope this one last for a long time, Paid good money for it.
This sunday is my mother's birthday. I've been thinkin alot about that.... She would have turned 70!
I still miss her so much. It's left a huge hole in our family circle.
Sometimes i will worry about things like; What if i get sick...who's gonna care for me?
Or mom giving advice and giving her unconditional love that seems to soothe things over.
My one memory that i remember was when i woke-up from having a seizure..Dad was laying next to me reading his bible and praying. Mom walked into the bedroom to make sure i was alright.
Another time when us kids were little.. mom would wake us up by gently lifting our sleepy little heads and giving us a warm drink of tea. Her love so early in the morning like that i will never forget. Now when we were teenagers....LOL
Just knowing my parents were there..made everything alright!
Before dad passed away..we had prayer time together, Seemed like we got closer.
My memory of Dad was often he would have the bible on his chest and he would meditate.
Dad's passing was in Nov 27,2001. He would have turned 79 this year!
Doesn't sound old at all.
I will rejoice knowing they are in the Lord's Presence and Thank God For giving me such loving Parents!
The memories i have of my parents.. show me the "Love god of God"!
Embrace God's love today....My Friends!
